David Ford

David is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of MIT Associates, LLC.

In the 42 years since David began his career in the financial services industry, he has developed a broad range of investment products including private placements, mutual funds, interval funds, ETFs, variable annuities and Real Estate Investment Trusts. He has led and been a senior managing member responsible for both product development and sales at several well-known investment companies including Fidelity Investments, Aetna, Hines Real Estate, W.P. Carey and Griffin Capital. David joined MIT in 2018.

David earned his Undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and his Master’s degree from Colorado State University where he pioneered the effort to place a valuation on the economic impact of climate change. David holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, 24, 63 and 79 licenses.
